Senior Chamber Music 2025

• Saturday July 19 to Friday July 25, 2025

• We invite young musicians on a fascinating journey into the wide world of chamber music, a musical world in which there is so much to do, where the possibilities are endless.

• This session for violinists, violists, cellists and pianists is for keen musicians who are eager to widen their musical horizons.

Daily schedule

• individual lesson 
• group lesson
• string orchestra for string players / improv class for pianists
• ensemble coaching session
• individual and ensemble practice 
• noon-hour student recitals

Concert

• The ensembles in the Senior Chamber Music Program are featured in a special concert on Thursday evening. 

While this program is mainly intended for teens, mature advanced younger players are also admitted.

Performance levels of the participants should be at or above the equivalent of the following pieces:

• Violin - Bach's Concerto in A minor
• Viola - Telemann's Concerto in G
• Cello - Vivaldi's Sonata in E minor
• Piano - First movement of Haydn's Sonata No. 48 

• Audition is due May 1st, 2025.

• Please upload your audition video to a web service such as Dropbox, Youtube, or WeTransfer and send us the link to access the video.

• Prepare a high quality recording representing your level of proficiency in solo repertoire. Please include two contrasting pieces, preferably with piano accompaniment.

• Indicate the composer and the title of the pieces as well as your name in the title of the video.
